We discuss all aspects of the design and development with you to ensure you end up with a design you are entirely happy with.
Below are somel tips for writing a rough design brief:
1 Think about the message of the design – what message would you like the design to get across. It is a good idea to come up with 5 or more key words that you would use to describe the logo or project. If you have a company strap-line it would be useful to include this and also any metaphors that may be used to describe your product or service. 2 If you already have a corporate image or identity that you would like the project to be consistent with please make a note. 3 Are there any colours that you would like to be used? 4 Give examples of projects or logos you like the look and feel of. 5 Who is your target customer base? 6 How will the product be utilised e.g. If it is a leaflet – how will it be distributed, if it is a sign will it be on a high street or industrial estate? 7 Who are your main competitors in your industry? 8 It is sometimes a good idea to give examples of ideas or design elements to avoid. 9 Try to get the best out of our designers by avoiding the temptation to tell the designer what to do in the initial designs, however, your input will definitely be required in the design developments. 10 Make sure you schedule your whole project before giving a design brief. We will ask you If the project has any deadlines and will advise you if the deadline is feasible or not.
